Mazda introduced the latest generation machine, called SKY-D and SKY-D, which consists of two versions, petrol and diesel. Tokyo Motor Show next month will become the first appearance of the machine.

As quoted paultan, SKY-G as a type of engine capacity of 2.0 liters of gasoline are already equipped with direct injection and improvisation on the system variable valve timing, resulting in fuel efficiency to 15 percent.
Similarly, the benefits of torque, the MZR engine matched to the Mazda 3 2.0 Sport. In fact, direct injection system previously found only on the engine capacity of 2.3 liter turbocharger alone.

As for SKY-D meruapakan diesel type, equipped with 2.2 liter engine capacity, which claimed to have a fuel efficiency 20 percent better than regular diesel engine 2.2, because the engine block is minimal friction.

Other features include PIEZO injectors and two-stage turbocharger, not like a twin turbo, but instead may be a variable geometry turbocharger.

All of these would be useless equivalent, if not supported by a competent transmission system. Hence, Mazda also introduced the automatic SKY Drive Transmission, with 6 speed combination that has been redesigned.

Apart from revising already konventer torque and clutch, so to minimize excess slip and friction, Mazda also said the transmission shifts more quickly by providing DCT.

Now, the application, at the Tokyo Motor Show later, Mazda will display their concept car Mazda Kiyora, a machine equipped with 1.3-D SKY’s SKY Ddrive mated with 6 Speed Transmission is automatic.

Claimed, will mix these machines can make Mazda Kiyora a distance of 32 km to a liter of gasoline.
